Time-old Tradition
Taphuis restaurant is a place where guests have created many memories throughout the years. The ancient wooden bar has been welcoming thirsty travellers since the 1960s. The rustic country-inspired décor is rich in texture with rough stone walls, brick floors and beautiful exposed wooden ceilings.
Dining options are either indoors, set against an impressive, handcrafted bar and large roaring fireplace with yellow wood furnishing and sash windows, or outdoors on the shady terrace, complete with garden views.

The gourmet pub-style menu, created by Executive Chef Stephen Fraser, offers dishes bursting with goodness and reminiscent of time-honoured tradition. Every single taste has been carefully considered, sourced, and prepared with homegrown ingredients, offering the best of traditional South African flavours and favourites.
Open daily for lunch and dinner from 12h00 until 22h00.
